History

Born the eldest of two twins, Rhaena spent her younger years in Corvos with her parents and younger twin. Though not more than 5 years later they were sent to the Sharlayan colony that would eventually become Idyllshire to escape the encroaching Garlean threat. During the subsequent evacuation of the colony they were whisked away alongside their erstwhile guardians to the Sharlayan capital.After a very brief stint in the Studium, finding dedication to scholarly pursuits was not to their taste they spent a time with the Gleaners Guild but eventually found that the day-to-day was not quite their speed either. Following a long run of odd-jobs and dead-ends Rhaena decided to venture out into the wider world to find a place for herself. Luckily, her sister also sought to step outside the bounds of Old Sharlayan for her scholarly pursuits.
